If you have a billiard ball of mass 90g (0.09kg) confined to a billiard table of dimension 1m use heisenburg's uncertainty principle to find the minimum velocity of the ball? i looked up heisenburg's uncertainty principle: (delta x )(delta p) > = h bar/2 using h bar/2 = 5.27 x 10^-35 (where h bar = planck's constant/ 2pi) my answer for the velocity doesnt seem right please help i'm a little confused ---> delta p is change in momentum which is change in mass X velocity

Resolved Question: Chemistry Help please!!! Kinetic energy of a rolling billiard ball...?
The kinetic energy of a rolling billiard ball is given by KE=1/2mv^2. Suppose a 0.17-kg billiard ball is rolling down a pool table with an initial speed of 4.7m/s. As it travels, it loses some amount of energy as heat. The ball slows down to 3.7m/s and then collides straight-on with a second billiard ball of equal mass. The first billiard ball completely stops and the second one rolls away with a velocity of 3.7m/s. Assume the first billiard ball is the system. Find for the process: w= ? J q= ? J delta E= ? J Thanks so much for help!

Resolved Question: Questions on the cue sticks' tips and some advise.?
Hi. I am a beginner of 8 balls, and I have been looking for a 2-piece cue stick. I went to big 5 and Sears, and it turns out that most of their cues arrive with a wooded flat tip, meaning I have to receive something to rub it up and shape it to a rounded tip so that I can play with it. Since I just started playing pool for a couple of months, I really don't know how to do it. I am wondering how to find a good cue stick that could arrive with a rounded tip ( I dont have to rub it up or shape it before I can actually play with it)? If I buy a cue stick online, like these two http://www.billiards.com/pool-cues?gclid=CPyKv-rXlqACFRIaagodvUxW9w http://www.poolcueguru.com/store/brand/dufferin/?gclid=COD_h4jYlqACFQdHagodZCyQuA , will they arrive with a rounded tip or a flat tip? With less than $55, what cue stick should I receive? What brad? I have heard of Dufferin, Vector and Action, which one is better within my budget? Please help. Thanks a lot.

A ball rolls across the top of a billiard table and slowly comes to a cease. How would Aristotle interpret this observation? How would Galileo interpret it? 1. Aristotle would say that the ball comes to relax because the ball seeks its natural state of relax. Galileo would likely have said it comes to relax because of some forces acting on it; likely friction between the ball and table surface and with the air. 2. every are wrong. 3.
